AMC+ Releases Yaga Sneak Peek Ahead of Oct 23 Premiere

AMC+ has released a new sneak peek clip for Yaga, an eight-episode mystery thriller premiering October 23. The series reimagines the Baba Yaga myth and stars Noah Reid and Carrie-Anne Moss.

AMC+ announced on September 14, 2026, that Yaga, an eight-episode half-hour drama, will premiere with two episodes on Friday, October 23. The announcement coincided with the release of a new sneak peek clip for the series, which is described as a contemporary mystery thriller reimagining the myth of Baba Yaga. The show is available exclusively in the United States on the streaming platform.

Yaga is based on a hit play by Kat Sandler, who serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. The narrative follows Rapp, a private investigator played by Noah Reid, who arrives in the small coastal town of Whittock. He is tasked with investigating the disappearance of Henry Park, a young heir to a powerful fishery, a role played by Hudson Williams. Carrie-Anne Moss also stars in the series.

The production team includes David Frazee and Rachel Talalay as co-directors. Additional executive producers are Mackenzie Donaldson, Andrew Miller, and Carrie-Anne Moss, while Charles Cooper serves as producer. The cast features Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle, Hiro Kanagawa, Emilija Baranac, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris, and Sam Krochmal.

Yaga is a Crave Original series produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures in association with Bell Media. Production involved participation from the Canada Media Fund, the Rogers Series Fund, and the Bell Fund. The series is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company, and was exclusively acquired by AMC Global Media for distribution on AMC+ in the United States.

Prior to its streaming debut, the series is scheduled for a world premiere on Thursday, September 17, at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival. A panel revealing exclusive content is also planned for New York Comic Con on Friday, October 9. New episodes will debut on Fridays, concluding with a two-episode finale on Friday, November 27.
