Sony Pictures has shared a new poster and several fresh images from the upcoming Resident Evil film, which is now less than a month from its theatrical debut.

The new poster features Bryan, played by Austin Abrams, leaning against a wall with a telephone off the hook. The image captures the character in a state of complete shock, aligning with the film’s synopsis. According to the source material, the story follows Bryan, a medical courier who unwittingly finds himself in a nonstop race for survival as one horrifying night collapses around him in chaos.

Beyond the main poster, the accompanying images tease the presence of the undead and a tentacled monster. One specific still shows this creature grabbing both Bryan and comedian Paul Walter Hauser. In that image, Hauser is depicted clinging to his car for dear life, highlighting the physical danger faced by the characters in the film.

The Resident Evil film is scheduled to infect theaters and IMAX on September 18, 2026.

No new release date changes or additional cast announcements were included in this specific update. The focus remains on the visual promotion of the film as it approaches its wide release. The source notes that the film is an all-new story, distinguishing it from previous adaptations in the series.
