Silt has released a trailer ahead of a planned fall screening tour, with Tommy Wiseau playing the owner of a secluded lakeside sanctuary. Bloody Disgusting reports that the film, previously titled Lake Vernon, plans special screenings during October and November.
Andrea Sixtos plays Hadria, who joins friends at the property while carrying unexplained guilt. Wiseau’s Bartleby presents the lake as something miraculous, but its effects push the group toward a threat they cannot easily understand.
Vernon Davis stars and produces. Malcolm Goodwin, David Anders and Olivia Grace Applegate also appear. Director Aaron Jay Rome and writer-producer Isaiah LaBorde adapted a story by Davis and Tiffany Toney.
Planned tour cities include New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, New Orleans, Austin and Dallas. Fans can request screenings through Demand The Screen, which hosts the trailer below. The report describes a tour rather than a confirmed nationwide opening on a single date.
