HorrorFuel reports that the holiday slasher New Fears Eve is now out on Blu-ray and streaming on Tubi. The announcement confirms the film’s current availability for audiences seeking a New Year’s Eve horror watch.
Created by Final Destination developer Jeffrey Reddick, the feature is directed by P.J. Starks and Eric Huskisson, who previously helmed 13 Slays Till X-Mas. The duo describes the project as a retro-inspired slasher designed to kick off the new year with maximum carnage.
The plot centers on three reluctant co-workers hosting their company’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration. The gathering turns into a survival fight when an unexpected guest, a masked serial killer known as “The Doctor,” crashes the party. Armed with surgical precision, the killer systematically dismantles the guest list.
The cast blends cult icons with newer genre talent. Sleepaway Camp star Felissa Rose leads the ensemble alongside Scary Movie actor Dave Sheridan and V/H/S alum Hannah Fierman. The survivor roster also includes Lily Claire Harvey, Jay Woolston, Alyssa Rhoads, Roni Jonah, Turner Vaughn, and Jesse MacDonald.
Starks and Huskisson crafted the film as a love letter to 1980s slasher classics. The creators describe it as a crossover between Office Space, Scream, and Office Christmas Party, balancing workplace humor with over forty elaborate practical kills. Special effects artist Stephen J. contributed to the practical gore.
