Level 33 Entertainment has released the official trailer for The Nice Ones, a psychological horror-thriller directed by Peter Stylianou. The film is scheduled for release on digital and VOD platforms this September.
The story follows Kate, played by Joelle Rae, who travels to a countryside getaway with her boyfriend and his friends. The retreat turns suspicious when mysterious lights appear in the night sky. Subsequently, the group becomes unnervingly placid and hyper-polite. As an inhuman entity spreads through the cabin, Kate attempts to warn the group, but her concerns are dismissed as paranoia.
The production blends claustrophobic isolation with cosmic dread, offering a spin on the invasion subgenre. The cast includes Emrhys Cooper, Ayvianna Snow, Daniela Norman, and Nick Lavelle. Andrew Lyle-Pinnock, Tom Kelsey, and James Akka also appear in the film. Genre veterans Ian Whyte and Donna Preston round out the ensemble.
Stylianou produced the feature alongside Andreas Olavarria, Taryn Procsal, and Tony Currier. No further release details or box office projections have been announced beyond the digital and VOD availability.
