Warner Archive Collection has announced the Horror of Dracula Limited Collector’s Edition, a seven-disc physical release of the Hammer Films classic. This restoration reinstates footage believed missing for more than six decades, including material previously seen only during the film’s original Japanese theatrical release.
K. S. S. Audio options include a brand-new 5. 1 mix for both the uncensored and theatrical cuts, alongside the original mono soundtrack. The discs are housed in a stylish digipak, comprising two UHD Blu-rays and five standard Blu-rays, with the UHD content duplicated on the Blu-ray discs.
Beyond the film itself, the package includes approximately 15 hours of new and rare archival content. Physical extras consist of a 200-page book, a 60-page House of Hammer comic reprint, a double-sided poster, and eight replica cinema lobby cards. The entire set is packaged in a high-end, leather-feel slipcase with debossed foil titling. A rigid inner box features new artwork by illustrator Robert Sammelin.
The restoration was executed by Hammer Films and Silver Salt Restoration in partnership with the Warner Archive Collection. The inclusion of the editor’s workprint offers a rare look at the film’s post-production process, distinct from the final theatrical releases.
Horror Society reported the details of this release on September 17, 2026. The announcement confirms the specific disc configuration and the scope of the archival work involved. No release date or pricing information was included in the initial report. The focus remains on the restoration quality and the comprehensive nature of the included versions and extras.
