Horror Society has confirmed that DEATHGASM II: GOREMAGEDDON will arrive in cinemas across the U. S. and Canada on September 29. The film, described as the long-awaited sequel to the 2015 cult horror-comedy phenomenon Deathgasm, will also be available on VOD starting October 13. This announcement provides a specific release window for audiences who have been following the franchise since its initial run.

The plot centers on Brodie, played by Milo Cawthorne, who is washed-up and stuck in small-town purgatory years after surviving the demon apocalypse of the original film. When the NoizeQuest battle-of-the-bands competition arrives in his town, Brodie sees a chance for redemption and a second chance with his old beau, Medina, played by Kimberley Crossman. However, his drummer is missing an arm, and the rest of his band is dead. Brodie uses pages torn from The Black Hymn to raise his bandmates from the great beyond, unleashing apocalyptic chaos with every chord.

The film world-premiered at Fantastic Fest 2025 before screening at Sitges, BIFAN, Fantaspoa, BIFFF, Screamfest, Telluride Horror Show, Razor Reel, Monster Fest, and over a dozen additional global film festivals. Milo Cawthorne, Kimberley Crossman, James Joshua Blake, Sam Berkley, and Daniel Cresswell reprise their roles from the 2015 original. New characters are introduced by Kieran Charnock, Harrison Keefe, Maggie Nicole Robertson, and Adam Scherr, who portrays WWE legend Braun Strowman.

The original score was composed by Matthew Kiichi Heafy of the Grammy-nominated metal band Trivium. No further details regarding marketing campaigns or international release dates beyond the U. S. and Canada have been provided in the source material.
