The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival has revealed its complete 2026 lineup, scheduled to run from October 15 through October 22. The event will take place at Nitehawk Cinema Williamsburg, offering a program of world premieres, retro screenings, and special events for East Coast horror audiences.

Badges are currently on sale, with individual tickets scheduled to drop this Friday at 10 AM EST. The festival opens with a U.S. premiere of a vampire-themed feature. The film follows an aspiring underground singer who is turned into a creature of the night. Dark Sky Films will host the official Opening Night Party across both levels of the venue following the screening.

During the festival, the Leviathan Award, presented by Arrow Video, will be given to John Adams and Toby Poser. The award honors luminaries of the genre, recognizing the duo’s work on The Adams Family. The festival will also host the New York Premiere of their latest feature, The Glorious Dead. This film depicts a small-town sheriff investigating mysterious disappearances and confronting fleshy monsters.

The festival’s Centerpiece is the New York Premiere of Species (Sanguine), directed by Marion Le Corroller. The body-horror thriller follows a French ER intern who develops disturbing bodily symptoms while investigating a strange new disease. The event concludes with the New York Premiere of Kick On, a single-location siege thriller by Nick Kozakis. The plot centers on four partygoers forced to survive against a mobster’s unhinged son.

The final night includes the official Closing Night Halloween Party, presented by ALTER. This announcement provides specific dates, venue information, and key premiere details for attendees planning to visit the festival this fall.
