Brooklyn Horror Film Festival Announces Full 2026 Lineup

The 11th annual festival runs October 15-22 at Nitehawk Cinema Williamsburg, featuring new premieres, revivals, and special events.

The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival has unveiled the full program for its 2026 edition. The eleventh annual event will run from October 15 to October 22, with all screenings held at Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg. The lineup includes a mix of new features, revivals, short films, and special events for genre audiences.

Key Films and Events

The festival opens with the U.S. premiere of I Love Paris & The Cycle, directed by Nicky Murphy. The film follows an aspiring underground singer who is turned into a vampire but continues her music career. Species (Sanguine), directed by Marion Le Corroller, serves as the Centerpiece Film and will have its New York Premiere. The film is a 103-minute feature from France.

The Closing Night Film is Kick On, a 91-minute Australian feature directed by Nick Kozakis. It depicts four friends fighting for survival against a mobster’s son in a single-location siege. The Glorious Dead, presented by Arrow Video, will receive the Leviathan Award. This 80-minute New York Premiere is directed by John Adams and Toby Poser. Other features include American Dollhouse, an 87-minute New York Premiere directed by John Valley.

The program also celebrates the world premiere of Michael Schwarz’s slasher The Only One. Documentaries included in the lineup are Rubberhead: The Life & Monsters of Steve Johnson and Full Moon Rising: The Charles Band Story. Special events include the presentation of the Leviathan Award to the Adams Family, creators of Hellbender and Mother of Flies. An Opening Night Party presented by Dark Sky Films will take over both levels of the Nitehawk after the opening film.

Festival badges are currently on sale. A limited number of individual tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
