Blumhouse Atomic Monster has released the trailer for The Last Kiss, a coming-of-age mystery thriller that premieres exclusively on digital platforms on September 15, 2026. The film is distributed by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and will be available to watch with no ads or subscription required.
Directed and co-written by Yoko Okumura, previously known for Unseen, the film stars Mckenna Grace as Laurel. Grace is also recognized for her roles in Scream 7 and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.
The plot centers on Laurel, who discovers she is cursed with the ability to see the death of anyone she kisses. After a vision reveals her crush is doomed to die in a murder spree targeting her closest friends, she races to unmask the killer. The film is described as a colorful teen slasher romance that escalates the anxiety of a first kiss to life-or-death stakes.
Okumura stated that the film is meant to be a spooky sleepover movie for mystery lovers of all ages.
